In this hands-on role, you'll support machine operators with the processing of mail, carry out quality checks, and help prepare items for dispatch. If you enjoy practical work, can stay focused in a repetitive environment, and take pride in maintaining high standards, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
What You'll Be Doing
- Assisting machine operators with the smooth running of production machinery
- Loading letters and materials onto machines accurately and efficiently
- Carrying out quality checks on processed mail
- Preparing completed items for dispatch
- Operating and supporting various finishing equipment such as Neopost mailing machines, pressure sealers, folding machines, booklet makers and enclosers
- Maintaining machinery and work areas to high housekeeping standards
- Completing consumables stock checks as required
- Ensuring all product quality standards are consistently met
- Following all operational procedures and process standards
- Undertaking manual handling and repetitive tasks throughout the shift
