As the business enters a new phase of expansion, we’re looking for exceptional engineering talent at all levels — from recent graduates to highly experienced senior engineers — to help shape the next generation of high‑performance battery technologies, from Wh‑scale portable systems to MWh‑scale energy storage solutions.

The Role

As an Electronics Engineer, you’ll be responsible for designing electronics that support the management, protection and charging of a wide range of battery systems. You’ll work across the full product lifecycle — from concept and design through to development, verification and ongoing support. This is a hands‑on, technically challenging role where your ideas and expertise will directly influence product performance and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create schematic‑level designs and PCB layouts for Battery Management Systems (BMS) and chargers
  • Conduct bench testing to validate design concepts
  • Manage component obsolescence and ensure long‑term design robustness
  • Collaborate with Support Engineers, System Engineers and other cross‑functional teams
  • Provide through‑life support for deployed systems
  • Follow the company’s Electronic Design process and contribute to continuous improvement

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Strong, structured approach to electronics design
  • Professional experience across the full lifecycle of electronic systems (or relevant academic/placement experience for graduates)
  • Degree in Engineering or equivalent relevant experience (renewables, aerospace, defence, energy, environmental sectors)
  • Proficiency in schematic design using industry‑standard tools
  • Experience in PCB layout design and testing
  • Excellent written, verbal and organisational skills

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Experience with battery management systems, especially Lithium‑Ion
  • Knowledge of formal design methods, documentation and verification
  • Experience in power electronics
  • Ability to work effectively in a flexible, fast‑paced environment
  • Experience with ATEX/Ex systems
  • Proficiency in Altium or similar CAD tools

Working Hours

Monday–Thursday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
Friday: 8:00am – 12:30pm (early finish)
