We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to provide expert HR advice and support across a unionised organisation. You will partner with senior leaders, support employee relations cases, contribute to policy development, deliver HR analytics, and help drive the People Strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice on HR policies, employment matters and national agreements.
- Ensure consistency of HR advice across the Business Partnering team.
- Build strong relationships with senior leadership, Board members and Trade Unions.
- Develop and implement HR solutions ensuring legal compliance and best practice.
- Produce monthly HR analytics to support decision-making.
- Support wellbeing initiatives and participate in recruitment when required.
- Contribute to training design and delivery for HR/ER-related topics.
- Develop, review and implement HR policies and support organisational change.
- Provide HR guidance on grievance, discipline, attendance, performance and dignity at work.
- Contribute to team performance and organisational People objectives.
- Maintain up-to-date HR knowledge and comply with all organisational frameworks.
Essential Criteria
- Option 1: Degree (Level 6) Current CIPD membership 3+ years' HR experience in a unionised environment advising on core ER issues
- Option 2: Degree (Level 6) Working towards CIPD membership 5+ years' HR experience in a unionised environment advising on core ER issues
