About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking
Utilities Labourer to join our growing team working across utility and infrastructure projects throughout the South West.
The successful candidate must hold a valid
EUSR Utilities Labourer Card and be committed to maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, and quality on site.
The role will involve supporting skilled operatives on water, gas, electric and civil engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting skilled operatives with excavation, groundwork and reinstatement activities.
- Loading, unloading and moving materials and equipment around site.
- Supporting site set-up, traffic management and barrier installation.
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
- Assisting with trenching, ducting and utility installation works.
- Following all health, safety and environmental procedures.
- Carrying out general labouring duties as instructed by site supervisors.
- Ensuring compliance with company and client standards at all times.
- Valid CSCS Green Card.
- Previous experience working on utility, construction or civil engineering sites.
- Good understanding of health and safety procedures.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
