About the Role
As a Premises Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring our school is secure, clean, and well-maintained. From managing site security and overseeing contractors to carrying out minor repairs and setting up for school events, you will be at the heart of keeping our facilities running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a key-holder and manage site security, including alarms and access.
- Carry out routine inspections and minor repairs, reporting compliance issues promptly.
- Support the Senior Caretaker with building systems, lighting, heating, and utilities.
- Liaise with contractors and supervise works on-site.
- Set up rooms and equipment for school events and exams.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety across the site, including snow clearance and litter picking.
- Ensure health and safety procedures are followed and risk assessments completed.
- Participate in an out-of-hours call-out rota and assist during emergencies.
