Blue Arrow are excited to open this opportunity for Reach and/or Counterbalance Forklift Truck Drivers to work for our internationally renowned logistics client in the BT26 post code area. These roles will appeal to an individual who loves working in a fast-paced team. The role boasts a great work life balance with Monday-Friday work. Based in Culcavy, own transport preferable due to location of site. Please note that you will also be utilised as a picker in the warehouse and not solely driving the Reach Truck.
Your responsibilities:
- General warehouse operative duties including picking/packing
- Unloading and loading of pallets and stock
- Use of FLT vehicle
- Attention to detail required
- Good level of verbal and writing understanding required due to filling orders etc.
You will have:
- Valid FLT licence/certificate
- Previous warehouse experience
- Knowledge of order picking processes
- Manual handling skills - this is a physically demanding role, you need to have the ability to regularly lift and move goods up to 25kg
- Awareness of Health & Safety practices in the workplace
- Good level of verbal and written communication skills in English
- High level of accuracy, striving for 100% accuracy and maximum productivity in all tasks
- Flexibility and reliability (attendance at work) is essential
- Excellent team working skills along with the ability to work independently
- Great work ethic
