As a Room Leader based in Godalming Surrey GU7, you will manage a specific group or room within the centre and ensure that educational strategies are seamlessly integrated across the centre. This is a leadership role where you will inspire your team to achieve the highest standards of care and learning. Our client offers a supportive environment that empowers you to create engaging, educational spaces where children can thrive. As part of their team, you will be introduced to their unique curriculum, designed to foster curiosity and confidence in young learners.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning and execution of age-appropriate activities and curriculum in your room.
- Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment for children.
- Foster a high-performing team through supportive leadership and collaboration.
- Oversee the development and wellbeing of children, ensuring their progress is tracked and communicated with parents.
- Take on the role of Key Person, ensuring the holistic development and personal care needs of a group of children.
- Ensure health and safety standards are met, maintaining a clean and secure environment.
38 / 40 hours per week over 4 days.
Ideal Candidate:
- Level 3 qualification or above in early years education - Essential.
- Experience in an early years setting is essential, with supervisory experience an advantage ideally as a Nursery Room Leader, Nursery Room Manager or Nursery Practitioner.
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
- Passionate about fostering children’s development and creating positive relationships with families.
