About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a General Assistant / Bar Packer to join our catering team at Belfast International Airport. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role supporting the preparation and packing of food and beverage items for airline services. You'll play a key part in ensuring flights are supplied with high-quality products while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting chefs with preparing chilled meals and assembling food trays
- Packing and preparing bar items and catering supplies for flights
- Stacking shelves and rotating stock to ensure freshness
- Carrying out food inspections and completing required paperwork
- Maintaining excellent hygiene and cleanliness standards
- Supporting general kitchen and clean-up duties
- Preparing goods ready for delivery onto aircraft
About You
- Experience in a kitchen assistant, catering, or similar role is desirable
- Comfortable working in different temperature environments (including chilled areas)
- Able to stand and work on your feet for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes accurately
- Good communication skills and a team-focused attitude
- Flexible and reliable
