We are looking for reliable and experienced Enhanced DBS Cleaners to support a care home in Alfreton on an ad‑hoc basis. This role is ideal for someone who is flexible, takes pride in their work, and can step in to cover shifts during busy periods, holidays, or sickness.
About the Role
Working within a care home environment, you will play an important part in maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic setting for residents, staff, and visitors.
Typical duties include:
- Cleaning communal areas, resident lounges, bathrooms, kitchens, and hallways
- Sanitising high‑touch surfaces and ensuring infection control standards are met
- Emptying bins and replenishing consumables
- Maintaining cleanliness in staff areas and facilities
- Reporting any maintenance or safety concerns
- Working to strict hygiene and safeguarding procedures
Requirements
- Enhanced DBS certificate (essential and in date)
- Previous cleaning experience, ideally in a care, healthcare, or similar environment
