Blue Arrow is recruiting temporary Kitchen Porters to support a wide range of clients across hospitality, catering, education and care environments. We offer full time, part time and ad hoc shifts, with immediate starts available for reliable candidates who thrive in fast paced kitchen settings.

About the Role

Kitchen Porters play a vital role in maintaining smooth kitchen operations. Typical duties include:

  • Maintaining cleanliness of kitchen areas, equipment and utensils
  • Operating dishwashers and handling manual pot wash
  • Assisting chefs and kitchen teams during busy periods
  • Ensuring hygiene and safety standards are consistently met

Client Base

You will work across a diverse range of sectors, including:

  • Hospitality venues
  • Contract catering sites
  • Educational establishments (PVG preferred)
  • Care and support environments (PVG preferred)

This variety offers excellent exposure to different service styles and operational environments.

Requirements

  • Previous kitchen porter or back of house experience desirable
  • PVG preferred but not required
  • Strong work ethic, reliability and ability to work independently
  • Comfortable with physical tasks and fast paced environments
  • Immediate availability for regular or ad hoc shifts
