Blue Arrow is looking for reliable and experienced HGV Drivers to join our client team for refuse and recycling collection across local routes. If you're an HGV driver seeking a stable, long-term opportunity that could lead to a permanent role, apply today!
Key Responsibilities- Drive along designated routes to collect refuse and recycling waste.
- Check routes for safety restrictions, planned roadworks, and traffic to ensure smooth operations.
- Complete all required paperwork, including job logs and incident reports.
- Perform daily vehicle checks and report any issues promptly.
- Adhere to site rules and regulations, including correct PPE usage.
Monday to Friday with potential evening and weekend overtime. Choose between AM or PM shifts:
- AM Shifts: Start at 5:00 AM, 6:00 AM, or 7:00 AM
- PM Shifts: 12:30 PM - 9:30 PM
Approx. 6.5 hours per shift.
Requirements- Valid HGV license.
- Minimum 6 months HGV driving experience.
- Ability to complete enhanced compliance checks (Right to Work, references, proof of address, National Insurance number, etc.).
- Strong attention to safety and reliability.
