About the Role
Working within a school environment, you will play an important part in maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic setting for students and staff. Typical duties include:
- Cleaning communal areas, hallways, offices, classrooms, canteens, toilets
- Sanitising high‑touch surfaces and ensuring infection control standards are met
- Emptying bins and replenishing consumables
- Maintaining cleanliness in staff areas and facilities
- Reporting any maintenance or safety concerns
- Working to strict hygiene and safeguarding procedures
Requirements
- Enhanced DBS certificate dated within the last 12 months or on the update service
- Previous cleaning experience, ideally in a school
- Good understanding of COSHH
- Ability to work independently with high attention to detail
- Safeguarding training - Blue Arrow can provide this if needed.
- Must be able to work Monday to Friday on an ongoing basis
