About the Role: We are currently recruiting for a Night Shift Cleaning Supervisor for my client based in Darlington. This role will suit a proactive individual with strong leadership skills and experience managing teams in an operational environment. The successful candidate will play a key part in ensuring standards are consistently met while maintaining a safe and well-organised working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate night-time operational staff to ensure all scheduled tasks are completed efficiently.
- Monitor work activity across the site, carrying out spot checks to maintain agreed service standards.
- Support, coach, and guide team members to ensure best practices are followed.
- Organise staffing levels, workloads, and use of equipment throughout the shift.
- Escalate any incidents, defects, or operational concerns through the appropriate channels.
- Complete basic administrative duties, including attendance tracking and shift reporting.
Person Specification:
- Previous experience supervising teams in an operational, facilities, or service-based environment.
- Confident leader with the ability to manage people and resolve issues effectively.
- Able to work independently and make informed decisions during night hours.
Rate: £13.96ph
Shifts: 7pm-7am Continental shift pattern consisting of 4 on / 4 off. The shift pattern will include regular weekend. Full time only.
