We are recruiting for a well-established manufacturing business in Runcorn that produces products used across homes and businesses worldwide. They take pride in maintaining exceptionally high standards throughout their site and are looking for an experienced cleaner to join their team. You will have cleaned previously and be able to demonstrate a strong background in this within the past 3 years. This isn’t a quick tidy-up role. We’re looking for someone who genuinely takes pride in their work, notices the small details, and enjoys keeping working environments spotless and safe. You will be working with a small team but expected to use your own initiative and love making areas look pristine.
What will you be doing?
- Cleaning offices and meeting rooms
- Cleaning glass partition calls
- Maintaining kitchens and canteen areas
- Cleaning toilets and washroom facilities
- Keeping corridors, stairwells and communal areas spotless
- Deep cleaning duties
- Replenishing PPE
- Cleaning machinery and surrounding workspaces
- Maintaining hygiene standards in manufacturing environments
- Supporting site cleanliness and safety standards
No two weeks are exactly the same, which keeps the role varied and interesting.
What we’re looking for:
This is important. We need someone who has worked in cleaning roles for at least two of the last three years and can provide references to support their experience. You’ll also need to be:
- Reliable and able to turn up every day ready to work
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Someone who takes pride in doing a job properly
- Confident following health and safety procedures
- Happy working across different areas of the site
Compliance Requirements:
- No unspent convictions
- Random drug and alcohol testing is carried out on site
- Successful applicants must pass all site compliance requirements before starting
