Blue Arrow Bristol are recruiting Class 2 / LGV 2 Drivers to work for our client based in Yate near Bristol (BS37). The roles are 12 weeks temp to perm working Tuesday to Saturday and the start times will be 6am. You will be completing on average 50 hours per week.

You will be delivering flat packed kitchens to customers and complete around 5 deliveries per day. You will always be working with a porter / driver's mate who will help you with the manual side of the role.

Basic hourly pay rate (PAYE) will be £17.29 per hour, overtime after 48 hours weekly will be paid at £25.94 per hour. The annual salary once you get the permanent contract will be £42,500 pa.

All drivers will have to pass a drug and alcohol test (and be happy to be re-tested occasionally) and also undergo a Disclosure Scotland (DBS) clearance.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Due to insurance purposes, at least two years' of previous Class 2 experience is necessary
  • Cat C driving licence, valid CPC and Digi Tacho cards
  • No more than 6 points of the driving licence for minor offences
  • Own transport or ability to get to Yate for 6am starts

As a Class 2 delivery driver, your duties will include:

  • Manual loading and unloading - training will be provided
  • Completing relevant paperwork
  • Using PODs
