The Role

  • Preparing and cooking fresh, nutritious meals
  • Following menus and dietary requirements
  • Maintaining high food hygiene and health & safety standards
  • Managing kitchen operations and stock where required
  • Working independently or as part of an established catering team
  • Providing excellent food service within educational and care settings

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Chef, Cook, Sous Chef, or Head Chef
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (minimum)
  • Knowledge of allergen awareness and special dietary requirements
  • Reliable, professional, and adaptable approach
  • Own transport is advantageous due to various locations across Essex
