We are seeking reliable and organized Catering Assistants to join our friendly team. While previous experience in a similar catering role and knowledge of food hygiene standards are preferred, full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Exceptional Service:
- Provide a welcoming and efficient food service to pupils and staff, ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Greet and interact with pupils and staff in a friendly and professional manner.
- Address any queries or special requests promptly and courteously.
- Maintain Cleanliness:
- Ensure that salad counters and serving areas are clean, well-stocked, and ready for each meal service.
- Regularly check and replenish food items, utensils, and condiments.
- Perform routine cleaning tasks, including wiping down surfaces, sweeping floors, and disposing of waste appropriately.
- Assist in Food Preparation:
- Support the kitchen team with food preparation tasks as needed, such as chopping vegetables, preparing salads, and assembling sandwiches.
- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency and quality.
- Assist in the preparation of special dietary meals as required.
