Are you reliable, organised, and looking for a hands-on role where no two days are the same? We are looking for a Logistics Operative to join our growing technical operations team. You will be supporting the smooth movement of stock and equipment through the warehouse, working with technical devices, and helping keep everything running efficiently. This is a great opportunity for someone with warehouse or logistics experience who enjoys practical work, has good attention to detail, and wants to be part of a supportive, friendly team.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Goods In
- Receiving deliveries and checking quantities and item condition
- Labelling and logging items into the stock system
- Flagging any damaged or incorrect deliveries
- Inventory & Put-Away
- Storing stock in the correct locations
- Helping with stock counts and investigating any discrepancies
- Keeping storage areas clean and organised
- Work-In-Progress (WIP) Movement
- Moving items between repair and refurbishment stages
- Keeping WIP tidy, labelled, and easy to find
- Reporting any delays or issues to the Team Leader
- Picking, Packing & Dispatch
- Picking the right items for orders
- Packing goods securely and preparing parcels for shipment
- Printing labels and handing over to couriers
- Systems & Admin
- Updating the stock management system with accurate item movements
- Keeping simple records for returns, exceptions, or quarantined stock
- Following SOPs and reporting any issues
- Housekeeping & Safety
- Maintaining a tidy warehouse
- Following health & safety procedures
- Using equipment safely and reporting any hazards
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
- Good attention to detail
- Comfortable using stock systems and scanners (training provided)
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work to daily deadlines
- A positive, team-focused attitude
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely
Desirable (Not Essential)
- Experience with technical devices
- Knowledge of WMS/ERP systems such as Odoo
- Experience with couriers or dispatch platforms
- Understanding of 5S or Lean principles
