The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.
We are currently looking for Nursery Practitioners Level 2 for a number of our Nurseries within South West London and the surrounding areas. You will require a minimum Level 2 Childcare Qualification to apply and be suitable for these roles.
Requirements:
- Childcare Qualification in Early Years Level 2 or above - Essential
- Enhanced DBS
- Experience with children under 5
- Strong communication & organisational skills
The role will include the following:
- Support in setting up and maintaining the nursery floor and outside area activities each day ensuring the learning environments are inviting and stimulating.
- Support with daily health and safety checks to ensure all nursery areas are kept safe and secure.
- Support the children's learning and development by participating in various activities.
- Work as a key worker for individual children to support their individual needs and learning journey.
- Take responsibility for meeting children's toileting needs, matters of hygiene and safety, medication or other needs throughout the day.
- Provide support at lunchtime by ensuring dietary requirements are met, encouraging children to eat and try new foods and offering additional support to children with feeding difficulties, ensuring correct procedures are followed.
- Attend to any children who become unwell or sustain minor injuries during the course of the day, ensuring procedures are followed and accurate records maintained as required.
- Welcome and support visitors to the nursery floor such as volunteers, students and other professionals.
- Develop good relationships with parents and carers.
