We are seeking a results-driven, strategic Cluster Sales Manager to lead and drive the sales function across three unique hospitality properties. This role requires a dynamic and adaptable leader with a proven track record in utilising MICE, corporate, group and event sales, capable of managing multi-site operations and cultivating long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement a unified sales plan tailored to the needs of each property while ensuring collective revenue targets are met.
- Manage B2B and B2C pipelines, focusing on MICE, corporate contracts, leisure groups, weddings, and private events.
- Identify new market opportunities and partnerships to drive incremental revenue.
- Build tailored sales strategies for each venue, leveraging each site's unique identity.
- Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, event agencies, travel partners, and local businesses.
- Conduct client meetings, sales calls, site visits, and attend networking/trade events to promote the venues.
- Ensure exceptional client servicing from enquiry through to post-event follow-up.
- Team Management & Collaboration
- Lead and support on-property sales executives or coordinators across the three venues.
- Collaborate with marketing, revenue, and operations teams to align messaging and execution.
- Provide regular training and support for team members to elevate service and conversion standards.
- Revenue & Reporting
- Own sales targets and forecasting across all venues with accurate tracking of performance metrics.
- Prepare and present regular reports to senior management including pipeline activity, lead conversion, and booking pace.
- Use CRM tools (e.g., Opera, Delphi, Salesforce, or similar) to manage sales activity and reporting effectively.
- Marketing Support & Brand Alignment
- Work closely with the marketing team to support seasonal campaigns, digital advertising, and brand activation efforts.
- Ensure all sales materials and client communication are aligned with each property's brand.
Requirements:
- Minimum 8+ years in a senior sales role within hospitality, preferably with multi-site or cluster experience.
- Demonstrable success in corporate, MICE, and group event sales.
- Strong knowledge of local and international corporate travel and event markets.
- Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Experience with CRM and event management software (e.g., Delphi, Opera, Salesforce, Triple Seat).
- Ability to travel between sites and work flexibly, including occasional evenings or weekends for events or site visits.
- Drivers Licence & own car is essential.
