Kitchen Assistant - Sidmouth, Devon. £12.85 per hour, 40 hour week (Monday to Sunday). DBS Required. We can apply if not held. Car driver required as not commutable via Public Transport.
My client is looking to recruit a friendly and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to assist with delivering quality meals to our residents in the care home. This is a perfect opportunity to gain some experience within the kitchen or perhaps the development of a new career in catering. You will be helping to ensure that our residents' dietary requirements are met.
Responsibilities of the Kitchen Assistant:
- Preparing fresh ingredients for various meals
- Maintaining a clean and tidy kitchen area that adheres to both Health and Safety regulations and the exemplary standards of the home
- Maintaining hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen environment
- Cleaning all crockery, cutlery and food preparation equipment
- Assisting in preparation of meals for service
- Preparing food and ingredients for service
