Blue Arrow is currently recruiting for a Cafe Chef/Cook to join a well-established Cafe based in the heart of Swansea City Centre.
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £15ph depending on experience (£29,250p.a)
Hours of work: Full time: 37.5 hours pw. Tues to Sat 8am-4pm shifts. Sunday and Mondays closed.
Role Responsibilities:
- To support the head & sous chef in the kitchen, delivering the very best standards of customer service and food service
- Cooking a variety of home cooked foods
- Stock rotation in fridges
- Ensuring all food hygiene regulations are adhered to and exceeded
- Plating up meals and ensuring the presentation is of a high standard
- Ensure kitchen and back areas remain clean, tidy and a safe working environment at all times
- Good teamwork skills and attention to detail
Experience/skills required:
- Cooking: 1 year experience as a minimum
- Food and Hygiene certificate Level 2
- Previous kitchen experience
- Ability to work at speed without compromising quality
- Able to cook a wide menu range of home cooked food
