Blue Arrow is urgently recruiting for a Hospital Switchboard Operator to join our clients team based in Pontyclun. Paid Weekly!
Rate of Pay: £12.51ph
Hours of work: Full time working 12 hour shifts Days and Nights: 8am-8pm one week and 8pm to 8am the next. Weekly rotating rota and will include weekend so must be flexible
Contract: 6 month contract initially

Duties:-
* Answering and directing calls
* Handle incoming calls from patients, families, staff, and external contacts
* Handle complaints or concerns and direct them to the appropriate channels.
* Transfer calls to the appropriate departments or personnel
* Provide general information such as visiting hours, directions, or department contacts
* Record messages and maintain logs of calls and incidents
* Assist with basic administrative tasks like data entry
* Respond to emergency codes and alert the appropriate teams.
Candidate requirements:-
Fluent in welsh speaking
* Previous experience in a similar role- ideally a switchboard role
* Excellent customer service skills and phone manner
* Be able to provide a calm, professional, and empathetic tone, especially in high-stress situations.
* Able to work under pressure
