We are currently recruiting experienced Agency Chefs to support schools, academies, colleges, and other educational settings across the Thurrock area .Whether you're looking for a few shifts each week or full-time hours, we have opportunities to suit your availability.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparing and cooking fresh, nutritious mealsManaging food production and service during busy periodsMaintaining high standards of food hygiene and kitchen safetyAssisting with menu planning and dietary requirementsMonitoring stock levels and food storage proceduresWorking independently and as part of a catering teamRequirements: Previous chef experience within schools, care homes, contract catering, or hospitality environmentsLevel 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (preferred)Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchenStrong understanding of food safety and HACCP proceduresExcellent time management and organisational skillsEnhanced DBS Certificate required Must be issued within the last 12 months, orBe registered on the DBS Update ServiceOwn transport is advantageous due to multiple client locationsWhat We Offer:?
