About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Chef de Partie to join the talented kitchen team at our beautiful coastal hotel in Swanage. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong Chef de Partie looking to take the next step in their career, working with fresh, high-quality ingredients in a professional and supportive kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities
Take ownership of your designated section and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Prepare, cook, and present dishes to a consistently high standard.
Support the Sous Chef and Head Chef in delivering exceptional food quality and service.
Assist with training and mentoring junior chefs within the brigade.
Maintain excellent food hygiene, health & safety, and cleanliness standards.
Help manage stock control, stock rotation, and minimise wastage.
Contribute new ideas and support menu development where appropriate.
Ensure guests receive an outstanding dining experience through consistently high-quality food.
What We're Looking For
Previous experience as a Chef de Partie , ideally ready to step into a Senior CDP role.
Hotel or high-volume fresh food experience preferred.
A passion for fresh ingredients and quality cooking.
Strong organisational and time-management skills.
Ability to remain calm and efficient during busy service periods.
Leadership qualities with a willingness to support and develop junior team members.
A positive attitude and excellent team-working skills.
