We are looking for an experienced Sous Chef to work in a financial firm in central London. Serving up to 200 heads each day, with stunning views and open space!
Currently, the client has a small kitchen team for a growing number of partners attending each day and is looking for a right chef to join them in their expansion. This is a Permanent role.
Pay Rate: £35,000 - £37,000 a year
Hours: 0700 - 1500 (Monday to Friday)
Responsibilities:
- Provide a friendly, courteous, and professional attitude at all times
- Support the Head Chef with daily running of the kitchen ensuring set procedures are followed correctly
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Ensure food is prepared in a timely manner and meets customer expectations
- Follow food safety procedures
- Ensure the kitchen is always ready for service and with total responsibility for its output
- Smooth running of daily back of house operations including deliveries
- Support Head Chef with the process of food ordering and book delivery times in line with the delivery processes within the building
- Protect the health and safety of all guests and team members by following the due diligence of food safety
About you:
- 1+ years of chef experience in a similar fresh food, high-standard setting. Fine dining experience would be a plus
- Passion for creating great food and leading by example
- Energetic, positive, and ready to thrive in a busy environment
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
- Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach
