We are looking for two full-time Nursery Assistants to join our team for the upcoming season. This is a hands-on, outdoor role in a fast-paced plant nursery environment. Full training will be provided.
About the Role
As part of our nursery team, you will support a variety of horticultural and production tasks, including:
- Lifting and preparing plants for customer orders
- Completing crop husbandry activities
- Working as a part of the potting team
- General outdoor manual work in all weather conditions
This is a physically demanding position requiring regular heavy lifting, bending, and being on your feet throughout the day.
Working Hours
39 hours per week + overtime as required (notified the day before lunch where possible).
Monday - Thursday 7:30am-4:00pm
Friday: 7:30am-3:00pm
Pay rate - £12.21 p/h (£17.25 p/h - overtime & Bank Holiday)
Bank Holidays: All staff are required to work bank holidays.

- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to work to daily productivity rates
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
