An experienced Junior Sous Chef is required for a leisure park in the heart of the New Forest with easy access to the seafront, providing a stunning location to live and work. Live-in accommodation in a holiday home can be provided if you don't live close by.

The chefs here work just 40 hours, usually 12-9 shifts, but if you work over 40, you get paid overtime, which is very refreshing!

Key Information:

  • Salary: up to £30,000 - plus Tips
  • Hours: 5/7 days on straight shifts usually 12pm-9pm
  • Location: Near Christchurch, easy access to the vibrant seaside town of Bournemouth

Duties include:

  • To support the Sous Chef and Head Chef
  • To maintain standards
  • To ensure the kitchen is kept in a clean, tidy and hygienic state
  • To liaise with customers to ensure all dietary requirements are catered for
  • To respond to feedback from customers and amend menus as appropriate
  • To create a range of interesting menus for both adults and children
  • Anything else reasonably requested by the management of the organisation

What you need to get the job as a Junior Sous Chef:

  • Experience at Chef level in a similar establishment
  • Qualified to NVQ Level 1 and 2 or Equivalent
  • Experience cooking with fresh produce and to a high standard
  • Enthusiastic attitude and willingness to learn and progress
