Position Details Job Title: Temporary Facilities Assistant Location: Eastleigh Pay Rate: £15.29 per hour Contract: Temporary Start Date: As soon as possible End Date: Mid-November 2026 Working Hours We are recruiting for one position on each of the following shifts: Early Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 2:00pm Late Shift: Monday to Friday, 2:00pm to 10:00pm About the Role As a Facilities Assistant, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operation of the College site, helping to maintain a safe, welcoming, and well-functioning environment. Key Responsibilities Ensuring the College site is open, prepared, and ready for daily use. Assisting with securing the campus at the end of the day. Carrying out general maintenance tasks including: Basic plumbing repairs Building fabric repairs Carpentry work Decorating General maintenance duties Moving furniture and setting up rooms for classes, examinations, events, and functions. Undertaking general portage duties. Supporting the operational running of plant and machinery. Receiving and accepting goods deliveries. Carrying out emergency cleaning tasks when required.
