Do you want a role with a great work / life balance? Are you a chef looking for a great opportunity with a leading global player in the contract catering industry? We are currently recruiting for a Chef for our catering site which is a short drive from Chippenham, you will be joining the brigade and assisting in preparing, cooking and presenting food to agreed high standards.
Key Information:- Salary: £15.21 per hour
- Hours: 35hrs - 5 out of 7 days but every other weekend off!!! Shifts - 6.30am-2.30pm or 11am-7pm
- Location: Chippenham
- Contract: Permanent

- To take some responsibility for all elements of the kitchen including preparation, cooking and presentation of food to agreed standards.
- To set and maintain standards.
- To ensure the kitchen is kept in a clean tidy and hygienic state.
- To respond to feedback from customers and amend menus as appropriate.
- To receive training that is necessary to maintain and improve the standards of the establishment.
- Anything else reasonably requested by the management of the organisation.
- Previous experience as a Chef
- Food Hygiene certificate / Food allergen training
- Knowledge of health and safety issues (COSHH etc) - further training can be given
- A real passion for hospitality and delivering great service
- Able to remain calm and composed in challenging situations
- Team player and able to work in busy environments
