We're looking for a Chef to join a prestigious, well-established café set on the clifftops of Barton-on-Sea, offering breathtaking coastal views and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. Key Information
- Salary: £13.00 - £14.00 per hour
- Location: Barton-on-Sea
- Contract: Permanent
- Hours: 5 days out of 7 Finish at 5pm Monday to Thursday & Sunday, Cooking until 8pm on Friday & Saturday (finish at 9pm)
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes to a high standard
- Using fresh, good-quality, locally sourced ingredients
- Maintaining excellent standards of food hygiene and safety
- Supporting kitchen prep and ensuring cleanliness at all times
- Working collaboratively with the kitchen team during service
Ideal Candidate
- Previous kitchen experience in a similar environment
- Basic knowledge of food production and ingredients
- Strong understanding of hygiene and food safety standards
- Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently
