We are seeking a skilled and motivated Line Chef to join the kitchen team at one of Bournemouth's most popular and well-established restaurants. Located in the heart of the town, this vibrant, high-volume restaurant is known for its great food, welcoming service, and fantastic atmosphere. This is a great opportunity for a Line Chef who enjoys a fast-paced environment and wants to be part of a successful, seasonal operation.

The Role

  • Preparing and cooking dishes to a consistently high standard
  • Working across sections to support smooth kitchen service
  • Supporting the Sous Chef and Head Chef with daily kitchen operations
  • Maintaining food quality, portion control, and presentation standards
  • Ensuring full compliance with food safety, hygiene, and HACCP requirements
  • Assisting with stock rotation, waste control, and cleanliness
  • Contributing positively to a professional, team-focused kitchen culture

Working Environment & Hours

  • 5 days out of 7
  • Winter: Reduced hours with a smaller brigade of around 3 chefs, offering better work-life balance
  • Summer: Increased hours during the busy season with a larger team of up to 8 chefs and strong tip potential

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Line Chef or Chef de Partie
  • Passion for fresh, well-executed, guest-focused food
  • Experience in high-volume or fast-paced kitchens

  • High standards of cleanliness, consistency, and food safety
