Blue Arrow is currently recruiting experienced Cleaners to work at a school site in Bournemouth on ongoing, long-term assignments. We are seeking reliable and hardworking individuals to join our facilities team in September.
Applicants must hold a valid DBS certificate issued within the last 12 months or be registered with the DBS Update Service.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Thursday - 3:30pm to 7:30pm
- Friday - 1:00pm to 4:00pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out general cleaning duties across the school site
- Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping and dusting classrooms and communal areas
- Cleaning washrooms and replenishing consumables
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and safety
- Ensuring assigned areas remain clean, organised and presentable
What We're Looking For:
- Previous cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Good communication skills and a strong attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude
- Valid DBS certificate issued within the last 12 months, or registered on the DBS Update Service
- Right to work in the UK
- Due to the nature of the role candidates must have lived continuously for the last 5 years in the UK to satisfy the client's pre-employment screening and safeguarding checks.
