About the Role
1 Year Fixed Term, following successful 6-month probation, leading to a Permanent Role. Predominantly Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work.
Whilst no qualifications are required, they are desirable; however, previous experience of working in a kitchen/catering environment is essential. All applicants will complete a comprehensive training programme in conjunction with our mentoring scheme upon arrival to Cuffley.
However, you do need the following:
- Experience in a similar kitchen/catering role, preferably with managerial experience/knowledge
- Ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative
- A high level of interpersonal skills and team values
- Good communication skills
- Good IT skills for emails, stock take etc.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining a hygienic and safe working environment
- Cooking and serving food to students and staff
- Managing the food budget
- Managing the dietary requirements of students and staff
- Maintenance of stock levels and ordering
- Working with multiple departments to ensure clear and concise communication
