A well-established, family-run business with a loyal team, low staff turnover, and a reputation for quality is looking for an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to oversee the day-to-day warehouse and goods-in operation and bring fresh ideas to improve processes, technology, and efficiency. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong warehouse, distribution, stock control, and team leadership experience who enjoys working in a hands-on environment and takes pride in accuracy, organisation, and high standards.
The Role
Reporting to the Centre Manager, you will lead a small warehouse team of three direct reports, ensuring stock is managed efficiently and deliveries are processed accurately.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the day-to-day warehouse and goods-in operation
- Leading, motivating, and developing a small established team
- Ensuring all deliveries are checked, recorded, and processed accurately
- Maintaining stock control, storage, and stock rotation procedures
- Supporting stock takes and inventory management
- Managing supplier returns and stock movements
- Overseeing customer delivery processes
- Maintaining warehouse, yard, and storage areas to a high standard
- Ensuring Health & Safety compliance across the department
- Assisting with recruitment, training, rotas, holiday requests, and payroll administration
- Acting as a key holder and Duty Manager when required
- Working closely with the wider retail management team during busy seasonal periods
What We're Looking For
- Previous warehouse, goods-in, or logistics experience
- Experience supervising or leading a warehouse team
- Strong stock control and inventory management experience
- Good IT skills and confidence using warehouse systems
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- A proactive, hands-on approach
- Understanding of Health & Safety requirements
- Forklift licence desirable but not essential
- Available to work alternate weekends

Working Hours
40 hours per week Monday to Sunday rota. Alternate weekends required. Typical hours: 8:30am to 5:30pm Sunday: 9:00am to 5:00pm.
