£35,000 plus tips
We are looking for a real foodie to join this upmarket Gastropub, with the focus on fresh seasonal produce. As Sous Chef, you will assist with training and developing the current kitchen team. With the use of local suppliers, you will have full input into the menus.
This site has a 40-cover restaurant with a further 50-covers in the garden. Previous fresh food experience is a must. A Chef with a background within AA-rosettes would be great, but not essential.
We want a sous chef who, with a little training, can take over as head chef in the near future. You should have a track record of team management and people development, and be a hands-on, self-starter who can manage their own time. A track record of achieving a good GP and proven ability to write menus whilst keeping to market trends is also required.
