Our client is a market-leading organisation within the construction sector and is looking to recruit a driven and organised Internal Sales Executive to join their successful team based in Kent. The Role
- Working closely with the Specification Manager and wider internal teams, you will be responsible for managing projects from enquiry through to order, generating new business opportunities and building strong customer relationships.
- Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a portfolio of approximately 200+ live projects
- Working closely with the Specification Manager to support project delivery
- Generating new business opportunities within designated postcode areas
- Making outbound calls to prospective and existing customers
- Managing incoming customer enquiries and project updates
- Booking high-quality appointments for the Specification Manager
- Converting quotations into orders and maximising project opportunities
- Delivering outstanding customer service at every stage of the sales process
- Maintaining accurate project information and CRM records
- Working collaboratively with Estimating, CAD, Communications and Customer Service teams
- Supporting the achievement of team sales and order intake targets
What We're Looking For
We're keen to speak with candidates from internal sales, account management, sales coordination, business development or customer-focused sales environments. You will have:
- Previous experience in an Internal Sales, Account Management or Business Development role
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong organisational and project management abilities
- A proactive and resilient attitude
- Ability to manage a high volume of projects and priorities
- Strong attention to detail
- Confidence making outbound calls and developing new business opportunities
- The ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
- A positive, team-focused approach
