Blue Arrow is currently recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Cleaners to join the Domestic Cleaning & Housekeeping Services at Barnsley Hospital. There are also opportunities to work as part of the Health on the High Street Scheme at the Alhambra in Barnsley Town Centre.
We are looking for individuals who are flexible, eager to learn, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Previous cleaning experience is desirable, although full training will be provided. You will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.

Key Responsibilities
- Clean wards and departments respectfully, maintaining patient dignity
- Follow and manage cleaning schedules based on ward activity
- Complete and check cleaning tasks daily
- Respond to emergency and ad hoc cleaning requests
- Carry out manual and mechanical cleaning as required
- Adhere to cleaning methods specific to each area
- Work safely and responsibly at all times
- Ensure cleaning is carried out to the highest standards
Requirements
- Previous cleaning experience desirable
- Enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one
- Ability to provide references covering the last 3 years
- Full employment history since leaving school
- Proof of address documents (utility documents issued within the last 3 months, showing your name and address)
Additional Information
Interview Date: TBC
Start Date: Induction will take place once vetting and training are completed. Please note that induction and training will take place Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 14:30
Temp to Perm: You will transfer onto a permanent contract after 12 weeks
