We are currently recruiting part-time, holiday-cover Class 1 drivers for our client based in Hemel Hempstead. This role operates Monday to Friday with a minimum of 8 hours per shift.
About the work: The operation involves delivering newspapers, books, toys, and other products for Smiths News. Drivers will be completing trunking runs between the client's sites. Regular start times are 17:00, 18:30, 19:00, 19:30, 20:00, and 21:00 (latest start). Routes are mostly set and consistent each day. Average shift length is around 8 hours.
Induction: We provide full induction paperwork. Drivers must also complete a one-hour induction video followed by a short questionnaire to confirm understanding of site expectations.
Route Guidance: A detailed route card will be provided, outlining step-by-step instructions for each site, including any site-specific rules and requirements.
