Location: Basildon Pay Rate: £14.25 per hour Shift: Early Starts
Blue Arrow is currently recruiting Delivery Drivers on behalf of our client, DHL, based in Basildon.
Role Purpose
As the face of DHL, our Couriers play a vital role in ensuring the successful delivery and collection of shipments for customers. You will be responsible for providing an outstanding customer experience while delivering parcels safely, efficiently, and on time. This position is key to maintaining DHL's reputation for excellent service, professionalism, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver and collect shipments efficiently and within scheduled timeframes.
Provide exceptional customer service at every delivery and collection point.
Plan and organise delivery routes to meet customer requirements and maximise efficiency.
Ensure all parcels are handled safely and securely.
Complete all required delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately.
Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly.
Follow all road safety regulations and company policies.
Represent DHL professionally and maintain a positive attitude when interacting with customers.
Requirements
Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
Previous multi-drop delivery driving experience is desirable but not essential.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Good geographical knowledge of the local area.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work early start shifts. xgikmsk
