Blue Arrow is recruiting a creative Baking Instructor based in Cambridgeshire to lead engaging after-school baking clubs across Cambridge, St Ives and Royston. This is a rewarding temporary to permanent opportunity working within a school setting.
You will be provided with all materials, ingredients, a teaching handbook and a class register for each session.
Pay Rate: £15-£16 per hour
Start Date: ASAP
Role Details
- Class duration: 4 hours (2:00pm - 6:00pm) or 3 hours (3:00pm - 6:00pm)
- Number of classes: 3 per week
- Days: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (Flexibility with days where needed)
Key Responsibilities
- Lead fun, creative and structured baking sessions for children
- Follow the provided teaching handbook and class plans
- Supervise children safely during practical baking activities
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Complete class registers each session
Requirements
- Own transport essential due to multiple locations
- Enhanced DBS required (or willingness to obtain one)
- Baking qualifications are not essential - baking can be a hobby, but you must be confident and proficient
- Experience working with children is not required, but you must be willing and comfortable working with children
- Reliable, enthusiastic and creative approach
