We are seeking a dedicated and reliable School Caretaker to join our team in Nottingham. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about providing a safe and clean environment for our students and staff. As a School Caretaker, you will play a crucial role in the daily operations of our school, ensuring that the premises are well-maintained and conducive to learning.

The ideal candidate will have an Enhanced Child DBS certificate, but we can process one for you to enable you to work in a school environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of school facilities, including classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and outdoor areas.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the school premises to identify maintenance needs and report any issues to the appropriate personnel.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting, minor repairs, and upkeep of school grounds.
  • Ensure that all health and safety regulations are adhered to, including the proper handling and storage of cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Assist with the setup and breakdown of school events, including assemblies, sports days, and community meetings.
