to join our waste collection team.

Pay:
£15.07 0/t £22.60 About the Role As a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for collecting domestic waste on designated routes while working closely with a team of loaders.

This is a physically active role that requires excellent teamwork, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to health and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Driving a Class 2 refuse collection vehicle.
  • Collecting domestic waste from residential properties.
  • Working as part of a team to complete daily collection routes.
  • Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting any defects.
  • Following all road safety and health & safety procedures.
  • Providing a professional service to the public.

Requirements

  • Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence.
  • Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
  • Previous waste collection experience is an advantage but not essential.
