Blue Arrow is currently recruiting an experienced Sign Fitter to work with one of our prestigious clients on a variety of exciting signage projects across the UK. This is a temporary, project-based role with the opportunity to progress into a permanent position for the right individual. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, variety, and travelling to different locations. No two jobs are the same, and you could be installing signage in Newcastle one week and London the next.

The Role

  • Installation of illuminated and non-illuminated fret-cut acrylic signage
  • Application of self-adhesive vinyl to hoardings, glazing, walls, and other surfaces
  • Reading and working from drawings, site plans, and job specifications
  • Carrying out accurate on-site measurements, positioning, and alignment
  • Ensuring all signage is installed safely, securely, and to a high standard
  • Working at height when required and using access equipment appropriately
  • Maintaining a professional standard on-site as a representative of a high-end client
  • Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times

Location and Travel

  • Field-based role covering sites across the UK
  • Must be comfortable with nationwide travel and working away from home
  • All travel and accommodation expenses fully covered

Pay and Working Hours

  • £16.50 per hour for weekday work
  • £18.50 per hour for weekends and unsociable hours
  • Availability required for both weekdays and weekends
  • There may be quieter periods between jobs, so candidates must be comfortable with the nature of project-based temporary work

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Sign Fitter or Sign Installer
  • Confidence installing vinyl, acrylic signage, and built-up letters
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in high-quality workmanship
  • Comfortable working in varied environments, including busy sites
  • Flexible, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team
  • Willingness to travel nationwide and stay away when required
  • CSCS card and full UK driving licence are advantageous
