The Role
- Provide strong, visible leadership and ensure the nursery delivers outstanding care, learning, and safeguarding every day.
- Lead, motivate, and develop a dedicated nursery team.
- Oversee staffing, rotas, ratios, and safer recruitment.
- Act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL).
- Ensure full compliance with EYFS, Ofsted, and statutory guidance.
- Drive high-quality teaching, learning, and care across all rooms.
- Support children's development, wellbeing, and early intervention.
- Manage operational and financial performance.
- Build strong, positive relationships with parents and carers.
- Represent the nursery at open days, tours, and marketing events.
