A leading independent school in Oxfordshire is seeking a proactive Catering Supervisor to join their established in-house catering team. This is a term-time plus role, offering the rare combination of a dynamic, rewarding environment with regular school holidays and predominantly daytime hours. Some evening work may be required for school events and functions, but this will be planned in advance.
The Role
- Supporting the Catering Manager in delivering an exceptional food service for students, staff, and visitors.
- Ensuring the smooth running of daily operations across the kitchen, dining areas, and school events.
- Supervising daily catering operations and front-of-house service.
- Leading, motivating, and supporting a small catering team.
- Maintaining excellent standards of food hygiene, safety, and presentation.
- Assisting with menu delivery and occasional food preparation.
- Managing stock levels, ordering supplies, and monitoring wastage.
- Ensuring compliance with school policies and regulatory requirements.
- Providing warm, professional customer service.
- Supporting school events and functions, including occasional evening service.
About You
