An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Head Butler / Food & Beverage Service Manager to lead food and beverage service within a historic College environment.
Reporting to the Deputy Domestic Bursar, the role is responsible for the operational delivery of high-quality service across the college. You will lead from the front, supervising and serving at formal dinners, guest nights, conferences and daily services.
The role involves:
- Hands-on management of food and beverage service operations
- Supervising high-profile College functions and large events
- Maintaining exceptional presentation and service standards
- Managing Deputy and Assistant Butlers and allocating shifts fairly
- Working closely with College Fellows, including responsibility relating to wine and silver
Shifts are variable between 7am-10pm, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
Ideal for candidates with experience in fine dining, events, or institutional catering who thrive in a high-standards environment.
