About Us:
Our client is a Day Nursery seeking a dedicated and talented chef to provide nutritious and delicious meals for the 54 children in their care, ranging from 4 months to 5 years old. They offer breakfast, hot lunch, and afternoon tea, catering to a variety of dietary needs.
Key Responsibilities:
*Prepare fresh, nutritious, and tasty meals.
*Cater to children with diverse dietary requirements.
*Maintain a clean and organized kitchen.
*Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are met.
*Understand and accommodate a range of allergens.
*Collaborate with the nursery to create a basic menu.
*Work independently and efficiently.
Qualifications and Skills:
*Relevant Level 2 qualification/Food Hygiene certificate.
*Good organizational skills.
*Experience cooking for large groups.
*Strong written and verbal communication skills.
*Current DBS or willingness to apply for one.
*Previous experience in a day nursery is beneficial.
Benefits:
