Kitchen Assistant - Witney Oxfordshire

Location – Witney, Oxfordshire

Monday – Friday: 08:30 – 14:30

Pay- £13 Per Hour

Qualities

• Good communication skills
• Great team working skills
• Able to calm under pressure.
• Be able to work quickly and efficiently
• Has high standards of personal hygiene
• Knowledge of kitchen safety requirements
• Able to work in a kitchen environment and follow instructions

Main Duties:

• Ensure that the kitchen is always clean and operational
• Assisting with general kitchen assistant duties
• Wash utensils and dishes and making sure they are stored appropriately
• Cleaning food preparation equipment, floors and other kitchen tools or areas
• Basic food preparation
• Maintaining a clean, hygienic and presentable kitchen environment
• Preparing food counter and dining areas for mealtimes and service
• Receive deliveries of new food and drink stock items, checking off items and storing them correctly
• Dispose of rubbish correctly

Requirements

• Enhanced DBS clearance
• Flexible approach to work
• Previous experience in Catering and Hospitality
