Blue Arrow are recruiting for x1 Warehouse Operatives to be trained on a inhouse VNA Fork Lift truck in Swindon Wiltshire. The successful candidates will be trained on a VNA fork lift truck and to be working on a 14:00 – 22:00 shift Working week: Monday to Friday Shifts: 14:00 – 22:00 Rate: Once trained on VNA £12.76PH Contract length – 12 months Job Role: To support the operations of company by flexibly performing a variety of tasks in response to customer demand. These roles include operating manual handling equipment (i.e. High Level Order Pickers and Low Level Order Pickers Forklifts), retrieving and refilling material in the warehouse, processing material in the Ancillary Building for despatch and return, and scanning documents on request and deliver the requested items to Oxford via our van delivery service when required. Candidate specification: Warehouse experience working with order picking Any Fork Lift experience would be a huge advantage Valid Driving licence as deliveries to Oxford in the company van and back on a ad hoc basis Physical role – but no heavy lifting Small team of 5 Comfortable working alone and at height Comfortable using hand held scanners and tablets Blue Arrow is proud to be a Disability Confident Employer and is committed to helping find great work opportunities for great people.
